Benefits

Designed to.

  • Conform without deforming
  • Hold an effective vacuum through a V-shaped sealing membrane

  • Allow easy use of stump socks

Why the details matter here

The sealing membrane geometry and the NF-53 formulation decide whether the seal survives a full day of loading, sitting and transfers.

Instructions

Selecting and using it.

How to select

Measure circumference 4 cm from the distal end with soft tissue hanging. Compare limb length to the sound side in thirds. Measure circumference 2 cm below the perineum, then choose cylindrical or conical and check the minimum limb length for the size.

How to use

Roll on from the distal end, check membrane placement, and clean the membrane and textile daily.

Evidence

What supports this.

LCA in progress. Vacuum retention testing is part of the current evidence programme.
