Responsibility
Measure first. Claim second.
Sustainability that cannot be checked is marketing. We publish product-level figures with the boundary they were calculated within, and we say plainly where the work is not finished.
- Challenge
- Sustainability claims are often made at company level, where they are impossible to check against the product being delivered.
- Why it matters
- A procurement decision needs product-level data with a stated boundary, not a general statement of intent.
- Our approach
- We publish product-level CO2e where an LCA is complete and say 'LCA in progress' where it is not.
- Evidence
- Product-level LCA following ISO 14040/44 principles, and material traceability.
- Next step
- Request the LCA documentation
Product-level status
Where each product stands today.
A figure means an LCA has been completed for that product. 'In progress' means exactly that — not a small number we are hiding.

Method
How the numbers are produced.
- Product-level assessment following ISO 14040/14044 principles.
- Stated system boundary, so a figure can be compared to a like figure.
- Raw material, production and transport accounted separately.
- Recalculated when a formulation, supplier or process changes materially.
Traceability
What we know about what goes in.
- Documented material origin for the blends we formulate.
- Production kept close to where the materials are sourced where possible.
- Durability treated as a sustainability variable: a liner that lasts longer replaces fewer liners.
- No recycled-content or bio-based claim without a documented share.
Ask for the figure, the boundary and the date. Any supplier who can answer all three is worth comparing; any supplier who cannot is worth questioning.
