For professionals
Specification you can check, not adjectives you have to trust.
You are accountable for the fitting. So we publish the variables you would want to control: blend purpose, wall thickness, conicity, textile behaviour, sizing rules and what our tests do not show.
What we do differently
A product description that survives a technical question.
- Challenge
- Product documentation often describes a material family and an activity level, which is not enough to predict behaviour in a specific fitting.
- Why it matters
- Without formulation, thickness and textile data, product selection becomes trial and error paid for by the user's comfort and your clinic's time.
- Our approach
- Every Nord° product publishes its formula purpose, wall thickness profile, textile, dimensions, sizing rule and evidence status.
- Evidence
- Product-level specification sheets, sizing protocols, mechanical test series and clinical cases.
- Next step
- Open the product specifications
Selection
How we suggest working through a choice.
- Start with the limb and the socket system, not the product name.
- Define the movement that is limited today: sitting, stairs, cycling, standing from low seats.
- Decide what the liner must protect: distal end, tibial crest, scar tissue, volume change.
- Choose the formula for that purpose, then the size, then the sleeve or brim interface.
- Change one variable at a time so the follow-up tells you something.
Sizing
Rules we do not want you to guess.
- Measure circumference at the specified distance from the distal end, on the rectified shape.
- For TF brims, the rectified mould circumference should not exceed the brim circumference by more than 2–3 cm.
- If a measurement falls between two sizes, decide by tissue quality and volume trend, not by rounding.
- Document the measurement you used, so a size change later is an experiment and not a restart.

Put us to the test
Send us the fitting problem, not just the product code.
Tell us the limb, the movement that is limited and the size you are considering. You get a specific answer, a sample, or an honest 'we do not have data for that yet'.
